Kim's refreshing MAKEOVER!!!

You know, I feel really special right now because my daughter was so kind to give me this scrumptious makeover last night.  She really helped boost my self-esteem, and might I add, made me look like a real beauty queen!!  I wish she'd do it more often!!  LOL!!!

My beautiful hair!
I even got my nails done!

He gave himself a makeover by making himself toothless!  You should see him try to eat!  He attempted to eat an apple yesterday, but couldn't bite into it, so he kindly placed the apple in the drawer with the silverware!  I guess he thought it would be safe there!  LOL!!

JANUARY-ITIS!!!

I don't know about the rest of you, but there's just something about January.  The holidays are over, the decorations are put away, the kids seem to fight more I guess out of bordem, and I seem to just go NUTS!!!  So the last couple of January's or so, I've started making that the month for indoor home improvement projects, I think more to keep my mind off off of the "Cabin Fever" that we suffer this time of year, especially when the kids are out of school.  So, I got my sweet hubby to tile the bathroom floor last week which might I add, he did an awesome job, and that got me into the bug of getting other projects under way.  So, for this January, I decided to go ahead and finish tackling Noah's room and finish changing it from a baby nursery to a little boy's room.  I started out by painting a blue wall, but then had no clue what to do with it, so I called a friend of mine from the neighborhood who is quite the artist, and she came and brought my blue wall to life!!  She came last January and painted our playroom while we were re-fixing the basement, and we were so impressed with her artwork that we decided to have her come back and do Noah's room as well.  We have had so many compliments on the playroom, so I decided to post some pictures of our playroom as well so you can see how well she brings plain old dull rooms to life!!  So, here's some of our "January-itis" projects that have been fulfilled!  Sorry I couldn't fit the whole wall in one picture, but I think you'll get the general idea.  In Noah's room we put car stickers on the road, and then spread them all around the room, and, (sniff, sniff) parted with the Noah's Ark nursery decorations (sniff sniff)!!  But, we are very happy with the way his new room turned out!  So, here it is, and you can clearly see that Bonkie is very happy too! :)
One happy little dude!!

JUMPIN JACKS!!!

Yes the kids are out of school AGAIN!!  I tell ya, what's up with these so called holidays and "teacher work days"???  Really, do the teachers really go in a work on these days, or is it just a scheduled day off for them to go skiing or something???  Well anyway, since the kids have been out of school, my friend Paige and I decided to take our kids to Jumping Jacks and see what this place was all about!  It actually turned out to be a lot of fun, and better yet, it wore my kids right out!!  They slept WONDERFUL last night!! :)
I was absolutely having a heart attack when my 2 year old suddenly disappeared.  We were looking all around the big bouncy things, inside them, and no N....My heart started racing, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw this little curly head polking from around the corner.  Sure enough, there sat BONKIE happily playing inside of Dino around the corner from all the bouncy thingimajigs!!!  WHEW!!
Loving the bouncy stuff!

Noah January 2007!! 11 fingers, 10 toes! :)
He got a birthday card from Isaac and Sydney that has Elmo singing Happy Birthday.  Noah thought this was the coolest thing and has been carrying it everywhere he goes, not to mention dancing to the music!

Bonkie Noodle Head turns 2!!!

Yesterday was Noah's 2nd birthday.  I can't believe he's already 2!  It seems like he was just barely born, and now he's into EVERYTHING!!!  Yes, the terrible two's surfaced with him I think around or right before his 1st birthday, and he just gets better and better at mastering the good old terrible two's as the days go on.  We do love him a bunch though and think he's a pretty cute kid to have in the house, despite the crayon all over the coffee table and carpet, drawers emptied everywhere, toilet water on the floor, doors opened everywhere, holes in the walls, and best of all, polking everybody's eyes out.....his specialty!  No really, I'm not exaggerating!  This kid is a walking terror, but a really cute terror.  Happy Birthday Bonkie!  We love you!!!

Blowing out candles on cake that Isaac & Sydney decorated
Yes!!  Chris finished tiling our bathroom floor before Noah's Birthday so our guests would have a place to, well, you know...I think he did a pretty good job!!  It looks far better than the ugly WHITE vinyl we had in there before!
Twinner doo's!  Syd wanted her hair like mine for the day!
Yum Yum!
Loving his new dump truck!

Loving the books from Auntie Lindsey
The kid's cake to Noah!  LOL!!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!  Can I just say..........HHOOORRRRAAAYYY FOR SCHOOL STARTING TODAY!!!!  You know, I love my kids, but man, I am so ready for them to go back to school and for life to get back to normal again.  Isaac does not do well when he is out of routine, and it really takes a toll on my sanity.  He was so excited to go back today, and I was more than ready to put him on that bus this morning.  We had a pretty fun week last week.  On New Years Eve day, we went up to my parent's house in Bountiful, Chris went shooting with my brothers, and then we took the kids outside to go sledding.  You see, out where we live, it's hard to come across hills since we live in the valley, and my parents live up on the benches, so all you have to do up there is walk out the door and you're on a great sledding hill.  So, we borrowed my parent's front yard and let the kids go sledding.  Isaac thought it was a total blast.  Sydney wasn't so sure, but then once she went, she loved it.  Noah on the other hand, well, he loved going down the hill, but then once the sled stopped at the bottom, he got really freaked out and wouldn't go again.  Oh well, we'll try again next year.  New Years Eve was pretty fun.  Chris Keg Roasted a turkey for us (oooohhhh soooooooo goooooood), and we had his siblings over for what we call "game night".  We pulled out a bunch of games and played up until midnight, ran outside to greet the new year, then ran back inside and played until about 2am.  It was pretty fun but we were sure tired the next day.  It's hard having to get up with kids after partying half the night.  Then on New Years Day, we took down all the Christmas decorations, and then went and priced out tile for our bathroom.  Yes, I am challenging my husband to laying tile in the guest/Sydney's bathroom before he goes back to work next week.  I'm really hoping it will be done before Noah's birthday party on Sunday.  GO CHRIS GO!!!  Our home is in need of some serious new flooring, so this will be a start for us, aside from re-carpeting half the basement last year.  SOOOOO, there's more to come next week as we will be celebrating Noah's 2nd birthday, so stay tuned and have a great first week of the year!!  Enjoy your sanity while it lasts (that is before the kids get home from school)!!!
Sledding with Noah for the first and only time!! (Noah really hated it)
Isaac ready for a run.
Crashed into a snowbank!!  OOPS!
