TIME SURE FLIES!!!!

Wow......just realized I haven't put anything on my blog since Emma was born and here we are, preparing ourselves for the chaos that Christmas time brings, on top of our normal chaos. Is it me, or is the transition from 3 to 4 much more of a challenge than 2 to 3??? WOW!!! Feels like Emma entered the world yesterday, and then all the sudden she's almost 2 months old. WHERE HAS THAT TIME GONE?!?!?!?!? Pregnancy felt like an eternity, and now that she's here, it feels like she's growing like a chia pet or something!! Well, despite that, we are enjoying every minute of her. The kids absolutely adore her (perhaps a little too much), and even though she's a fussy one and doesn't sleep too well at night, I wouldn't trade her for anything. :) She has brought so much joy and happiness to our family. (On that note, we will be blessing her on January 2 at 1:30 pm for those who would like to join us.) So, since I've been a slacker with the blogging thing, I'm going to take you back to Halloween and get that on here before Christmas arrives....along with a few recent pictures of Emma. She's changing and chunking up so fast! Our little butterball!!

Emma Marie Andrews

SHE HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!! After 9 very looooooonnnnng months, and doing everything we possibly could to have her be born on 10/8, 10/10/10, 10/20/2010, we finally settled for 10/21/10! No sequence to the numbers, but none the less, we are sooooooooo excited to finally have our sweet lil pumpkin here! Emma Marie Andrews was born October 21, 2010 weighing in at a hefty 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 18 1/2" long. She was surrounded by a very stubborn waterbag that refused to break on its own, and after many false alarms with horrid contractions, FINALLY convinced the doctor to PLEASE break my water....I promised them she would come quickly and she certainly did. Born at 9:03 pm......approximately 2 hours after my water was broken, about 1/2 hour after my epidural kicked in, and exactly 1 minute BEFORE the doctor walked in to deliver her. With that said, she was delivered by our awesome nurse and a nurse midwife. Really, I wasn't kidding when I said to break my water!! Such a sweet moment when she did enter the world, and of course at the same time, we had to tease the doctor for going home in the first place even though when he broke my water I was only at a 4, and 2 hours later she was born while he was stuck at a traffic light just outside the hospital....oops! We had a good laugh over it and we are so blessed to have this cute little one here safely and in our arms! We have enjoyed every second of the day just loving her, cuddling her, and trying to figure out why she sleeps all day and stays awake all night!! When I look back though, after getting off on a rocky start being told that I was losing her, to being incredibly green through most of the pregnancy, having more strange issues this time around than with any other pregnancy, being the biggest complainer out there of all the aches and pains...especially in the end, I'd do it all over again if I had to......she was sooooooooo worth all the pain and misery! It's funny how much you forget how miserable you were once the baby arrives. We love her more than words can even express!! Welcome to the world lil Emma!

D-day has FINALLY arrived!!!!! :)

The first few moments of her life...

The scale says it all!

Yes a very HORRIBLE UGLY picture of me, but this is our nurse Jeanna, a friend of ours from the neighborhood. Very very good at what she does and went all out to make it a fun experience for us. Thanks again Jeanna! :)

Pumpkin Patch

Well I didn't think we'd have another post to do before the baby comes, but apparently she is very stubborn and doesn't want to come out. So, with that said, we decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch yesterday and let them get some pumpkins. They had a blast. There were about 12 different tractors for them to play on, a kid's corn maze for them to play in, and then the obvious.....pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere!!!

Loving those tractors!

Chillin out!

Some last "big belly" moments before it disappears.

Isaac has especially loved the big belly.

Syd picked out a pumpkin for the lil punkin!

Daddy helping Noah....he couldn't seem to keep his wheelbarrow from tipping over.

Staying close behind to help pick the pumpkin back up for the 100th time....go Daddy!

Noah likes to be different.....he chose a white pumpkin this year.

Trying to find "the pumpkin"

Still trying to figure out how to push a wheelbarrow.

No "kid barrow" for Isaac.....he thinks he's all grown up!

Syd searching for her ultimate pumpkin!

Crazy kiddo corn maze. (couldn't get too many pics in the maze...they were too fast)

One last pic of the 3 kiddos together before #4 joins! :)

More of the big ol' tractors!

VROOM VROOM!!!!

CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZ!!!!
